Reusing your Ultrasafe filters
Ultrasafe offers two cost saving and easy options to recondition your cabin filters:
1. Buy a DIY Kit (available for online purchasing)
OR
2. Return your filter for an Express Recharge service (via dealers)
DIY Kits

For the convenience of refilling your filters on site, we can supply a DIY Kit with all the replacement parts – ADXORB® Activated Carbon, seals, pads, indicator beads, and specialty parts.
Is it important to note that filters must be reconditioned using correct techniques to ensure the filter operates properly. If you are uncertain, either call us or send your filter to us for an Express Recharge.
Your filter should be replaced or recharged every 12 months or 400 hours of use, whichever comes first.
Express Recharge

We believe that prioritizing your health should not be an expensive exercise. Our filters have been designed to be reused multiple times.
Most of our filters can be recharged for under $250, saving you money every year. This service is on average 35% cheaper than a new filter.
The 24 hour Express Recharge service will recondition your used filter and return it to you like new.
When you send in your filter for our Express Recharge service, we thoroughly inspect all elements of your filter including pads, seals, carbon, indicator beads, and overall condition. We perform any minor repairs required and clean the filter thoroughly.
All elements are cleaned, and we use fresh activated carbon, seals, and pads to provide a cost effective and environmentally effective service.

Chemical Filter Maintenance
Your filter should be replaced or recharged every 12 months or 400 hours of use, whichever is sooner. Refer to the date on your filter for requirement to replace or recharge.
Pads
Remove your Ultrasafe Products chemical filter. If the filter pad is dusty this will restrict the air flow) or if there are holes in the dust pads then performance will be compromised. Order replacement filter pads from Ultrasafe Products or your dealer.
Rubber Seals
Check rubber seals for general wear, cracks, movement and deterioration of rubber seals and only reinstall the filter if all seals are in good condition ensuring that the filter fits securely. Rubber seals need to be replaced by Ultrasafe reconditioning service.
Beads
Pink/purple colour indicates working active carbon. Brown/ochre indicates you should check your filter or contact us. Black/grey indicates filter requires replacement or recharge and is not recommended to be used.
Vacuum Sealed Filter Packaging
Most chemical filters made in Australia by Ultrasafe Products are now supplied in secure vacuum sealed bags. This will allow you to store a spare chemical filter for up to 6 months depending on the conditions. Now you can keep a spare filter on hand for immediate installation.
To extend the life of your chemical filter do not expose to light, oxygen or chemicals. Store in the original vacuum sealed bag and in a dry place. If the filter is exposed to any moisture the activated carbon will deteriorate and then must be replaced. Refer to the inspection date on your filter for requirement to replace.
